Design a Family Budget

As we are social animals and our existence is mainly in a small or large family, we need to think in such way so that our families will be kept in good condition. Now to run a family successfully and peacefully, you need to arrange funds to strengthen your family. You should make the good financial budget so that you and your wife can lead comfortable lifestyle. The main purpose of creating a family budget is to save money for purchasing the vital products. Or that money which you have saved will come handy to overtake the financial crash in near future. Just talk to your espouse and seniors how to design the budget for better financial position. If you have children, it is your duty to send them to school and colleges.
Now in modern society, the education fees are higher and costly. You need to save money for bearing the education cost and other incidental charges as well. In addition, the healthcare is a part of important expenditure. There are many guys who don't like to save money for healthcare. However if you face any life threatening diseases or accidents, you will have to arrange fund for paying the medical bills or bearing the hospital charges. Therefore you will have to purchase the health insurance and life insurance policies to protect your family. In addition, you must calculate how much amount you need to spend on regular basis. Maybe something more or less, but you feel it urgent to keep it on record. Please don't let your kids to buy whatever they like. If you show flexibility in releasing fund to them, they will forget to value money.
Please try to make them realize the significance of dollars and to what extent these dollars will come handy to you. You can fix the particular amount which will be spent for purchasing the certain things or products every month. This type of fixed amount will be really helpful to guess beforehand how much money you will have to spend and how much you will have to save every month. Look I know that food is good for health but if you squander your hard earned money just by eating delicious dishes which are costly, it will be make your financial health poor Therefore please control shopping options and eating outside frequently. Home made food will be cheap and healthy. You can be vegan or vegetarian as well. Instead of taking spicy foodstuff, it will be less expensive to eat boiled rice, fresh vegetables and fruits.

Fast Food Consumption and Obesity

Fast Food consumption is the main problem for eating habits in America. This consumption has increased in the United States over the past three decades. Many researches and studies conclude that eating fast-food regularly causes many health problems because it contains a lot of calories, fat and sugar. Also this food is low in fiber and nutrients. According to many study young adults that eat at fast-food restaurants gain more weight and have increase in insulin resistance in early middle age. It's very difficult to eat a healthy way at a fast-food restaurant. Even though some restaurant try to offer healthy menus.these menus still include foods that are high in fat, sugar and calories and low in fiber and nutrients. According to some experts, people should decrease how often they eat at the fast-food restaurants. The main reason for the weight gain is that sometimes a single meal at fast-food restaurants contains enough caloric requirements for an entire day. Many research links eating at fast-food restaurant to greater weight gain and increase tendency to be overweight. According to a federal dietary survey of more than 9000 Americans, an increase in fast consumption yielded not only higher calorie intake among participants, but also a decrease in the concentration of vitamins and minerals in their diets. Many people take care of their cars better than their bodies. People eat fast-food because it is more convenient, cheaper and tastes pretty yummy, for this reasons tons of fast-food get consumed each year. We know that old habits are hard to die but knowing the health problems caused by junk food force us to think twice before eating fast-food meal. So we should think about the benefits of preparing a healthy meal at home. So the First benefit of food`s preparation at home is that it will save you money, secondly the food that you prepare yourself let you decide the portion of fat and calories you would like to eat, and finally it will save yourself from health problems caused by fast-food.so I encourage myself and everybody to change their eating habits and their food preparation.
In America experts argue about whether the causes of the increases of the rates of obesity are the individuals or society or fast food or family. The question arises here perhaps more pressing, namely, what do we have to do about this problem? Here the frequent responses from each side, from talk radio, blogs and newspaper editorials. When the Individuals are targeted, some companies and institutions move to account their employees for their excess weights. For example, Lincoln University in Pennsylvania try to make students lose some kilograms, and North Carolina State forcing its employees who do not discount the weight to participate in the health plan that is more expensive. Also some U.S. airlines retain the option for obese passenger to pay the price of two seats. As well as adoption agencies refuse requests of obese parents, and some child-care institutions threatened to snap obese children from parents unless the parents encourage their children to decreases weight.
A plan of attack would be to impose a tax on those foods, which many feel they contribute to the problem. It is believed those who support the imposition of this tax - known as the sin tax - on fast food and candy and soda that this tax would urge people to look for foods more correctly. But there is a front that refuses these procedures and considers another way of saying pay the price of your obese, and demands that companies of foods and beverage industry to be part of the solution. The working-level study has shown that the number of employers who offer weight management programs has increased from 6% in 2006 to 25% in 2009.
The programs vary based on weight administration to cultures of companies. The program has included in its advice about weight and fitness centers on-site cafeteria and make the prices affordable and more nutritious than fast food in addition to providing financial incentives. Some companies, raising the slogan "the more healthy the best benefits were better." And reward staff for other companies just to participate in these programs. With regard to individuals say one of the specialists that blaming obese people is not correct because many cases of obesity are a result of genes and environment. Twenty years ago, food was not available everywhere, but today you find even in the petrol station, hardware store, laundry and other auto other outlets. And more food available is the least feed. He argues the defense team of human obesity is that obese people is not the case because a lot of people with heavy weights are healthy and active.
In the opinion of specialists, the solution is not easy and that it needs to step up outreach programs in the workplace, schools and communities and more research to identify successful programs based on evidence, and believe that reducing the impact of obesity and related health costs requires changes at four levels: Individuals need to be responsible for their choices and this includes their choice of their bodies. Family should be responsible for feeding the children where the parents are a living example of the system healthy diet and exercise habits. The school has a role in the provision of appropriate options. Social institutions, including the workplace, must play a more active role in the quality of food provided and provide health education and adequate programs and financial incentives to encourage more healthy behaviors. Required to provide better research so that we can distinguish between what works and what does not work. And health care decisions by community members, but in the context of the family and society. i think that we all responsible as individuals to educate ourselves and our families about the danger of the fast-food and junk food consumption. also the government is responsible and it should regulate the food and beverages industry. so these companies put the health of their customers first before its profit. so we need all the elements of the society to participate in the effort of building a healthy individuals that will contribute to our economy.

The Threat to Intellectual Freedom

Is there a real threat to intellectual freedom in the United States? Is there a threat to independence and the worth of the human personality? And to that add, a threat to the very meaning of life?
Admittedly there is little that threatens one's freedom and meaning of life more than debilitating disease, war and now in our world, terrorism. We have, however, been warned of other dangers, perhaps slightly more remote, which need our attention and are of equal importance.
The singular and most obvious threat is the deliberate stupefaction of America. This is being accomplished by an intentional and commercially motivated lowering of the intellectual levels of communicative content. According to the National Assessment of Adult Literacy the reading level of the average adult in the United States is 8th grade. Two publications, TV Guide and Readers Digest with the largest circulation in the world has a reading level of only 9th grade. The same holds true for the largest circulated newspaper, The Sun. In 2005 (the most recent figures available) the reading score of 12th graders was 6 points lower than back in 1992.
Besides the reading issue another related danger of the stupefaction of America is the whole area of public education itself. I have written about this in the past and it still holds true. Excessive standardization which extends to the very teaching processes themselves. Even the curricula of our schools has not escaped this massive effort of standardization. This is especially true in literature, history, and civics (if it's still taught in some schools). We have become not just the products of such standardization but also its victims. You bet-cha.

Marital Counseling Questions

Marital Counseling questions are usually of the following kind;
When should a couple seek marriage counseling or family therapy?
What kinds of skills do couples usually learn in counseling?
How many sessions are usually needed?
What does it cost, and will insurance pay?
Do both spouses come to the first visit or should one of us go first?
What do I do if I want marriage counseling but my spouse refuses to come?
What can we expect to happen in the first session?
What questions should you ask when choosing a marriage counselor?
Before choosing a new marriage counselor, you can ask lots of questions to see if he or she is the right fit for you. Consider asking questions like these:
* Are you a clinical member of the AAMFT or licensed by the state, or both?
* What is your educational and training background?
* What is your experience with my type of problem?
* How much do you charge?
* Are your services covered by my health insurance?
* Where is your office, and what are your hours?
* How long is each session?
* How often are sessions scheduled?
* How many sessions should I expect to have?
* What is your policy on canceled sessions?
* How can I contact you if I have an emergency?
Making the decision to go to marriage counseling can be tough. But marriage counseling can help you cope better with a troubled relationship — rather than trying to ignore it or hoping it gets better on its own.
As a domestic violence educator, I have used the Gottman model, and especially the materials in their home study workshop, The Art and Science of Love, as a model for relationships based on choice rather than power and control, and the Gottman model involves a lot of exploring, getting to know your partners inner world, and there are many questions involved.
In fact the very first section, The Love Map Exercise involves couples answering 62 questions that they ask of each other. I have used tool with couples, and they have all found it to be fun. In fact, I have seen couples who have been fighting moments before become playful as they remember the answers to some of the Love Map questions.
Once it is completed, the question becomes; "How often am I willing to remember my partner's love map, especially when I am irritated?" One of the things that Gottman speaks to quite eloquently is the need to nurture positive emotions and use repair phrases after an argument. You can take a look at the video just below to get a sense of Gottman's take on nurturing positive emotions, and as a bonus, you get mine also.
I teach my anger management clients, and my domestic violence clients that they need to remind themselves on a schedule, if need be, to remember what it is they like about their lives, their mates, themselves, their children, because regular practice like that literally changes the brain, enhances our neuroplastic capacities, and certainly changes the chemistry in the body, eliminating stress hormones and replacing them with DHEA, the antiaging hormone.
We need to maintain an internal sense of contentment, and that follows thoughts, and if those thoughts are of gratitude, then if I am upset about my mate's choices, I will be much more able to discuss that upset cooperatively rather than competitively. You can have some stress hormone producing thoughts, just don't keep them for very long.
Imagine you and your mate each getting internally coherent, then getting coherent together, so that the relationship has a heart beat of its own, and a heart intelligence of its own, a cooperative and affiliative heart intelligence, for those conversations about sex, money, vacations, child rearing, or ambition?
From that kind of physiology, the difficult day to day negotiations about issues that are perhaps gridlocked can move into a solution until the next time we negotiate. What I mean by that is that the tools I used to parent today's child may not work tomorrow because the child has grown, and financial discussions may be impacted by a new investment opportunity. In other words, talk early and talk often to keep your maritial counseling questions out of the marital counselor's office.
